Nature is the force that sets the pace in Deirdre’s artwork representative of a living breathing landscape.

Deirdre has expertise in oil painting, laser-cutting, cyanotype and embossment. She works primarily on large scale linen canvas and Japanese paper for her laser cutting pieces. Her painting technique is executed with a layering process of rapid brush strokes giving an immediacy of emotion transporting the viewer to a parallel emotive landscape.

Deirdre exhibits annually in West Cork and is represented by the Warren Gallery in Castletownshend, West Cork.

Deirdre is an active member of the Limerick Printmakers since 2016 and is a participant on the Creative Europe Training Programme Wom@rts 2020. She has work in private collections in both Ireland and overseas.
